I agree about the global warming point but let me chuck this in the pot. I have no proof for what I’m about to spout but how many of Americas last four or five Presidents have, (how shall we say) involved themselves, just prior to re-election in a bit of agro… hmmmm. Iraq twice, both mid term wars.

Could it be, or is Gonner just seeing things again (saw 5 goals @WHL).

As Spurs continue to search for the keys to the bus, a rather lost defence leaked more goals. Both defences were poor or was it that the finnishing from both sets of forwards was on song? either way, Arsenal had better start searching for their own bus before the clash with Chelski.

We need to get past our perceived failings of Bush and deal with the fact that the American people have voted him back in. We might not like the result but in a democracy you don’t always get the result you want. It’s like going into the bookies and asking for your money back when you lose. As I stated in the post, we had to put up with Thatcher for years even though millions of people didn’t vote for her.

As for terrorists, of course they exist and they are a threat to Western civilisation. The nature of the terrorist’s fundamentalism means we can never negotiate with them. Their system of values and beliefs is totally incompatible with our system of values and beliefs. The terrorists need to look at themselves.

Global warming – can’t argue with that one but most americans obviously don’t give a hoot about global warming and Kerry would’ve found it difficult to sell Kyoto to the americans as well.

Great news! – Bush is great for UK i.e., US enconomy drops in favour of UK.

Are there really terrorists if so are they really a threat?

I think that the issues on global climate change is a bigger one – its likely to kill more people – and we all know who is to blame.
