Top 40 golfer again

I managed to qualify for the second round of the club championship at Mill Green on Saturday with an 81. Slumped to an 89 the next day. The others must’ve been bad. Technorati Tags: Golf

Back to square one

Played in the June Saturday Medal at Mill Green and had a terrible 91. Started with a nine (trouble in the treacherous rough) and it was down hill from there. Had nine pars in all but the rest was dross. Despite that, my swing changes are starting to feel more comfortable.

A bit better

Played in the Sunday medal at Mill Green and shot a respectable 83 (net 71). In truth my irons were dreadful again but I chipped and putted beautifully with not one three putt. I need to continue to work on my iron play though.
