Ryder Cup team finalised

BBC SPORT | Golf | Monty, Donald in Ryder Cup

Bernhard Langer has made his wild card picks for the Ryder Cup team. Monty was obvious but I’m a little suprised he chose Donald. He’s played in the Walker Cup and done well in America but I bet he doesn’t play until the singles on Sunday. Jacobsen would’ve have been a better choice as he’s very strong mentally.

Are Spurs the new Arsenal ?

Arsenal used to have a reputation for being boring as they always seemed to win 1-0. Spurs had the reputation for always trying to play good football and the fans expected that. Spurs moved to 3rd in the table with a 1-0 win over Birmingham. It was all a bit dull and now we have the ironic situation where Spurs are grinding out results and the Arsenal are playing brilliant attacking football. My whole world’s thrown out of kilter.

What’s the point ?

Been watching the BMW International Open from Germany and the pro’s have been ripping it up. They’ve been reaching the par fives with a driver and six irons . It’s always good to see people playing well but if the course is too easy what’s the point ?
