Yet to be convinced

BBC SPORT | Football | Premiership | C Palace 0-2 Chelsea

Watched Chelsea last night and although they scored two good goals, I’m not convinced yet that they’ve got what it takes to win the Premiership. Joe Cole showed some good touches and Drogba and Tiago took their goals well but it all seemed a bit disjointed. Although it’s early days the Arsenal still look the team to beat (God it hurt to say that).

Not over it yet

Two days after I thought the Arsenal were going to get their come uppance, I still can’t believe they came back to win 5-3. I certainly can’t watch the replay just yet.

Tiger’s still No. 1

BBC SPORT | Golf | Cink claims NEC victory

Finishing 2nd leaves Tiger still No.1 golfer in the world. Trouble is he’s driving the ball about as well as I do ! :(

Good day

Went to Sandown yesterday and didn’t win a lot but didn’t lose too much. Frankie Dettori saved my bacon in the last race on Porthcawl. It was his day with four out of the seven winners. Had a win double on Friday with Countdown at Sandown and Daze at Chester. And to top it all, Spurs won 1-0 at Newcastle !

English invasion

BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | Newcastle United | Real Madrid sign Woodgate

Blimey the English are coming ! Beckham, Owen and now Woodgate have gone to Real. Looks like Camacho has taken a liking to English players. They’ll certainly give Real a bit more steel as well as craft.

Golfing glory

Played golf with The Royal Oak Golf Society at Abbottsley on Tuesday and managed to win with 38 points off of 10. Putted like a dog on quick greens but it seemed everyone else did too. Only really hit one poor shot and that cost me a blob on the 16th. Other than that played well.
