Played at Knebworth in the Vice Captain’s Cup of The Royal Oak Golf Society. Putted brilliantly to go round in 77 and win with 41 points. What made it even better I beat Robert in a head to head.

We were dreadful in this game. Giving the ball away, pumping it aimlessly forward and genarally being pitiful. We have to beat teams like Villa if we’re going to get anywhere. We’ve made no progress since last season.
We had to be out of the hotel by 10 o’clock so we had a lot of time to kill. Went to Roquetas port and spent the afternoon there. It was very hot so we kept cool in a bar !
Saw Utd draw with City then went to the airport and that was that.
Transport home
Spent the day by the pool in an effort to get that final bit of sun.
In the evening had a horrible Indian but we were desperate by then.
