This kind of certainty comes but once in a lifetime.
Spent the day on the beach which was warm and not as windy as previous days. The sea was really cold though.
Went for a long walk in the evening looking at all the new building taking place. Shah reckons the place will really take off once the Brits get wind of it.
Had a lovely Italian meal that Shah finally enjoyed and finished the evening off with a bit of live spanish entertainment back at the hotel.
Went on the bus journey from hell to Almeria and then struggled to find anywhere decent to eat. Almeria was quite a nice place but if we never went there again it would be too soon !
The whole day was capped off by watching England losing to Northern Ireland 1-0 in an abysmal performance. As Shah said, England weren´t even trying.
Went exploring again and took a train ride around Roquetas De Mar. The weather´s really turned and there´s a very cold wind. Even by the pool which is a bit of a sun trap, it was still cold.
In the evening we wandered around getting cold and trying to find a good place to watch the football tomorrow.
Spent the day on the beach and it was unbelievably hot. The sea was warm and very choppy as there was quite a strong breeze. Caught the sun without even trying. Shah is darker than ever.
In the evening we found a bar that had a live singer who was very good. Shah over did it on the cocktails and had a play on the swings on the way home.
Spent the day exploring Roquetas De Mar. Found the golf club (no clubs unfortunately). It looked a bit dull to be honest. Lots of bars and restaurants so we won´t get bored. Spent the afternoon at the hotel swimming pool which is excellent.
In the evening cocktailed it up and felt a bit worse for wear to be honest !
It seemed to take an age to get here but now we´ve arrived it´s a great place. It´s very hot . The hotel is brilliant with a great pool and our apartment is massive. It can sleep 4-6 so we´ve got plenty of room. The air conditioning wasn´t working in the room so it was a bit uncomfortable at first.
We were both very tired when we got here but we still managed to go out for a few beers. There´s lots of bars and restaurants. The hotel and resort is full of Spanish people and not many Brits so it´s not been discovered by the crowds yet.
