Again we play poorly but manage to nick the points with a glaring mistake from the keeper. If we have harbour any thoughts of being a force we must dominate more against teams like West Brom. We let them outplay us and make it difficult for us to play. We must support the man in posession more, move the ball more quickly and thus not allow teams to close us down.

It was good to see Dafoe still trying to score even after the keeper tried to drag him down.

If we get rid of Dafoe and bring in Cisse then Martin Jol wants shooting. Cisse is a brainless footballer who won’t bring anything to the team. And that’s a polite way of putting it.

Wenger just fires a cheap shot when we all know we need more English players (of whatever background) to be playing at the highest level. It is somehow unsatisfactory when you see an English club fielding all foreign players. I’m glad Tottenham have plenty of English players in the side and that Tottenham are going to win the World Cup for England.
