Deja Vu

BBC SPORT | Football | World Cup 2006 | England beaten on penalties again

We’re out again on penalties but in truth it’s been very frustrating watching England. We’ve got great players but we’re not a great team. We could be though. It does annoy me however, when you here so called experts giving their opinion and not really offering any real solutions.

I can’t believe Chris Waddle in the article below. To say we need more skillful players like Ronaldo is errant nonsense. Look at how well Germany have done. They have no players like Ronaldo yet all play for each other and play brilliantly as a team. And how Graham Taylor can be allowed to express and opinion after what he did to England, I don’t know.

So called experts

My biggest worry is that Steve Mclaren has been helping Sven and you can’t tell me the decisions Sven has made haven’t been made without consulting Mclaren. So I think it’s going to be much of the same.

I couldn’t agree more with Alan Shearer though.
