BBC SPORT | Football | Premier League | Newcastle 3-1 Tottenham

Over the years I have seen many a pitiful performance by Tottenham but this must be very nearly the most pitiful performance I have ever seen. Quite simply if we carry on like this we will be relegated.

I know how they feel because I have played in many a poor side over the years and sometimes you simply don’t know what to do next and you just try and get through the game without making a mistake. However I was a Sunday morning pub player and they are professionals earning tens of thousands of pounds a week.

BBC SPORT | Motorsport | Formula One | Raikkonen pips Hamilton to title

Despit a valiant effort by the rugby lads on Saturday and Hamilton giving it a shot, we come up short again and all the expectations of English sport at the highest level are dashed. Still we should have known it wouldn’t be any other way.

Back at last !

After nearly three weeks of frustration and cost, I’ve finally got the website up and running. It has not been a good experience dealing with web hosting companies and ploughing through the Wordpress forums. It’s really been through my own endeavour and hard work that I’ve got the website back into shape.

We stage an amazing comeback to snatch a point but you can’t hide the fact we are a very poor side at the moment.

Worth taking a player run down:

  • Robinson      Not England’s no. 1
  • Chimbonda   Needs to decide if he’a a defender or an attacker
  • Dawson        Perhaps a pub team will come in for him
  • Kaboul          The capital of Afghanistan not a footballer
  • Bale             Excellent game and an excellent prospect
  • Lennon         Runs like a girl, plays like a girl
  • Zokora         At least he gives a bit of drive and energy in midfield
  • Huddlestone   Thinks he’s Glenn Hoddle, playes like Glenn Close
  • Taino             I thought he was unlucky to get taken off
  • Keane          The only player of any quality we’ve got
  • Berbatov      Looking increasingly like a one season wonder

  • Dafoe          Not suprised he doesn’t get a game
  • Bent           Don’t get me started !
  • Malbranque  A time waster in more ways than one
