The Religion of Peace

“Islam does not allow women a political role. So I believe she was an apostate, not a Muslim, and I will not be remembering her in my prayers.”

The above is from a worshipper in Britain when asked if he would be praying for Benazir Bhutto on Friday. The religion of peace strikes again.

Nothing suprises me anymore

BBC SPORT | Football | Premier League | Tottenham 6-4 Reading

It is well documented on this blog what a roller coaster ride it is following Spurs. This game will only add to that experience.

When we went 1-0 up I thought it would be good to have a tidy 2-0 win over Reading so we could go above them in the table.

Things are never that easy with Spurs and when I logged onto the BBC website at about 16:40 I couldn’t believe it was 4-4. Luckily we managed to get another couple via a penalty and another Berbatov goal. Seems like Robbie Keane should be rested from taking penalties for a while.

Are we living in a madhouse ?

BBC NEWS | England | London | Making music with a message

I’m not sure this country can take anymore nonsense like this. We are placing too much emphasis on faith (of all kinds). Religion should be private like it used to be not in your face like this. I truly despair.

That’s brightened things up

BBC SPORT | Football | Premier League | Tottenham 5-1 Fulham

Just like a birdie in golf always brightens your card up, thumping the other side brighten up your goal difference. At the end of the season goal difference could mean a lot. I’m glad Robbie Keane got a couple of goals as he was unlucky to get sent off the other day and has come back well from the disappointment of last Saturday.

Is he taking the mickie ?

BBC SPORT | Football | Premier League | Arsenal 2-1 Tottenham

It’s a bit rich coming from Wenger when he syas their goal was “It was a great, traditional English header.” He’s not got an englishman any where near his team !

We’re not going to get a better chance to get something out of a game with them than this. If Keane had scored you never know what might have happened. But typical Spurs, play well, miss great chances and give away soft goals.

Semis here we come

BBC SPORT | Football | League Cup | Man City 0-2 Tottenham

We score an excellent away victory against a City side who haven’t lost at home this season.

Both goals were well taken and Zakora was really unlucky to get sent off.
