As Gus Poyet said it’s all very well having a great pre-season but that counts for nothing in the Premier League. If the club really has aspirations for the Champions League then we must go to places like Middlesborough and win. Possession is all well and good. You must create chances and then take them.
Let’s hope it’s not another season of frustration. And at the moment it is hope rather than belief.
