Another great day at Sandown. Didn’t win a bean but Shah did OK.

I had a bet yesterday. It was a win double on Deuteronomy in the 2:40 at Newcastle and Wood Chorus in the 3:50 at Wolverhampton. Deuteronomy obliged in the first race but Wood Chorus (who started odds on) was beaten into 2nd by a 33-1 shot who was going away at the finish.
Every punter bemoans their luck I know. It just seems a bit dodgy when things like that happen.
Me and Shah both had a bet today and came up trumps at Salisbury (Shah) and Redcar (The lucky punter)

BBC SPORT | Other Sport… | Horse Racing | Yeats and Fallon take Gold Cup
A combination of Rob Wright of the Times and Kieren Fallon convince me to back Yeats at 7-1 for the Ascot gold Cup and the lucky punter strikes again !

BBC SPORT | Other Sport… | Horse Racing | Sir Percy snatches dramatic Derby
It was a close run thing but Sir Percy helped to swell the Nash coffers as I selected the Derby winner at 7-1.

Went to Sandown yesterday and didn’t win a lot but didn’t lose too much. Frankie Dettori saved my bacon in the last race on Porthcawl. It was his day with four out of the seven winners. Had a win double on Friday with Countdown at Sandown and Daze at Chester. And to top it all, Spurs won 1-0 at Newcastle !
