The future of the Web - The Semantic Web (apparently)

The Web seems to be moving away from just being a source of information into something that becomes intelligent. Whether this is actually what people want for the Internet or is just being pushed that way by Silicon Valley types that’s another matter.

As techie sort of person I enjoy this but remain a little sceptical of whether it will be useful or not.
I use Twine which is supposed to be a Semantic Web application. Thing is would my life be worse off if I didn’t use it ?

This looks useful

I used clipmarks to post this to the blog. It seems clipmarks will be useful if I just want to post part (or parts) of a web page to my website.

Facebook

Am I the only one who doesn’t get Facebook ?

Frustration

I’m having a few problems transfering my domain name from compila to easypace. they just won’t seem to talk to each other.

Possible site downtime

I’m moving to a new web host (Easyspace) which may mean the site maybe unavailable at somepoint over the next week or so and I won’t be doing any updates until everything is moved.

Picasa2

If you keep a lot of photos on your PC, then Picasa2 is excellent. It sorts your photos into manageable albums and you can manipulate your photos in various ways including getting rid of red eye and artistic effects such as a collage of photos.
