We had a good trip to Jersey although it was not as good as it could’ve been due to the weather. The hotel was brilliant so that saved it really. Although the flights were only short, the one coming back from Jersey was a bit hairy due to turbulence, the like of which I’d not experienced before. It even made the cabin crew jump !

BBC NEWS | UK | Police probe flights terror plot
Just as about as we’re going to America to get married this happens. Me and Caz aren’t the best flyers in the world and this isn’t going to help. Still it’s not going to put us off.
People carry too much in had luggage anyway.
We had to be out of the hotel by 10 o’clock so we had a lot of time to kill. Went to Roquetas port and spent the afternoon there. It was very hot so we kept cool in a bar !
Saw Utd draw with City then went to the airport and that was that.
Transport home
Spent the day by the pool in an effort to get that final bit of sun.
In the evening had a horrible Indian but we were desperate by then.
Towel City
Went on the bus journey from hell to Almeria and then struggled to find anywhere decent to eat. Almeria was quite a nice place but if we never went there again it would be too soon !
The whole day was capped off by watching England losing to Northern Ireland 1-0 in an abysmal performance. As Shah said, England weren´t even trying.
